How to use?

Place the shield on the breast in the most comfortable position for you, so that the nipple is centered in the tunnel of the shield. Hold the shield against the breast with your thumb and forefinger, supporting the breast with the palm of your hand. To find out which funnel size is right for you, click here .
The Medela Swing breast pump uses 2-stage pumping technology. Thus, the first phase is that of stimulation. It lasts a maximum of 2 minutes and starts by clicking on the top engine button (circle shape with dot on top). The pump then switches automatically to extraction mode (second stage). If the milk begins to flow before the end of the stimulation phase, manually switch to extraction mode by clicking on the bottom button (down arrow with two drops). Adjust the suction strength using the + and - side buttons.
